Avoid Winter Construction Fees
Are you planning a construction project yet this year? If you haven't contacted a licensed electrician and our staff regarding your installation, we encourage you to do so soon.
All necessary paperwork and payments, as well as meter socket installation and inspection, must be completed before October 1, 2024 to avoid winter construction fees.
All work done after October 31, regardless of weather, will be charged winter construction fees.
Winter construction fees are in addition to the estimate you are given to have work done.
Winter construction fees are due prior to any work being completed.
For more information, or to start your project, please call the office at 715-232-6240.
Are you interested in learning more about your cooperative and the utility industry in general? The Power Connection program might be just for you!
Should the number of interested participants exceed available seats, those not accommodated will have the opportunity to attend a future session of the program.
For more details on the program, visit our Power Connection page!
We'll cover five topics over the course of winter:
Co-ops 101: How much do you really know about cooperatives? Learn about cooperative history, the business model, governance, and more.
Our Energy Landscape: What is beneficial electrification? How do we manage loads that are increasing faster than generation output?
The Grid: Who are the players and what makes up the actual grid? Is it like they depict in the movies?
Co-op Financials: How are budgets developed? How do we account for Mother Nature? How are rates determined?
Future Challenges: What do we foresee being challenges the industry, and the cooperative itself, will face?
We'll discuss all of these topics and more! If you are interested, please contact Jolene at jolene@dunnenergy.com.
